Risk of impact to S'pore from Mers infection low

SINGAPORE - The Ministry of Health's assessment of the risk of a serious public health impact to Singapore due to an imported case of the Middle East respiratory syndrome (Mers) coronavirus infection "remains low", said Parliamentary Secretary for Health Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim.

A total of 51 suspected cases have been investigated here from January to last Friday. All have tested negative.
