UNITED STATES - Vegan mums are getting a boost from US actress Alicia Silverstone.
The 36-year-old vegan and mother of one has launched Kind Mama Milk Share - an initiative to help new mothers who want to breastfeed their babies but struggle to produce enough milk.
"If you have milk to share - post it! If you are in need of milk - post it! Think of all the babies we can help raise together!" the star, who has a two-yearold son, announced last week on her website The Kind Life, which supports clean eco-friendly living.
Silverstone has previously been in the news for her controversial parenting choices. Last year, she was criticised after uploading a video of her feeding her son pre-chewed food.
