Hot dish: Jones the Grocer's Spicy Seafood Aglio Olio

While the walk-in cheese room at Jones the Grocer (9, Dempsey Road, Tel: 6476-1518) - with its 100 varieties of cheeses - is fascinating, the cooked food menu offers some winners.

I like the Spicy Seafood Aglio Olio ($28) with scallops, prawns and spaghetti. It is a dish found in many places but this version features fresh seafood and a touch of heat (thanks to the chilli).

Coupled with the relaxed atmosphere and the cafe is the perfect choice for an easy lunch.

And you can go shopping for cheese afterwards, too.
