Ikea Singapore recalls raisin and almond snack over undeclared nut content

Ikea Singapore is asking concerned customers who bought its raisin and almond snack with a certain production date code to return it, as it may contain nuts that are not declared on the bag.

Nuts such as Brazil nuts, cashew nuts, walnuts, and hazelnuts may be found in some Russin & Mandel products with the following label details:

Best before date: 06.04.2016
Production date code: 5 169
Lot number: L33573

Four bags of Russin & Mandel have been purchased in Singapore so far, Ikea Singapore said in a statement today. It added that all the affected products have been removed from the shelves, but that they are safe for those who are not allergic or sensitive to nuts.

Customers who would like to return the product can do so at any of the two Ikea stores here, in its original packaging and/or with the transaction receipt, and get a full refund.
