Golden arches - there is probably no brand more globally recognised than the McDonald's chain of fast food restaurants.

The world's largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants began in the 1940s as a small restaurant but is now the world's most famous, serving up to 68 million customers in 119 countries on a daily basis.

Its famous headquarters, known as McDonald's Plaza, is a huge compound in Oakwood, Illinois comprising a range of different offices and the Hyatt Lodge, which is a hotel by the Hyatt group.

With a test kitchen, huge fast food restaurant, soft drink stations and multiple decades' worth of collectible merchandise on display, the McDonald's HQ is every employee's dream come true.

The endless supply of french fries, Big Mac burgers and Chicken McNuggets, are just some of the perks employees working at this global empire enjoy.

Not only does the office seem fun to be in, large tall glass window panes and serene views of greenery also help to make the workplace relaxing for employees there.
