Jetstar introduces FAST Tuesdays for convenient check-ins

SINGAPORE - Jetstar Asia has introduced FAST Tuesdays to encourage customers to use only self-service kiosks and bag drop options on Tuesdays.

The airline said they added five new kiosks and only a few counters will remain open on Tuesdays to manage group tours and assist passengers who may require document checks until the end of the year.

The kiosks have been updated with simplified instructions and interface.

The budget carrier has trained the ground teams to assist the customers better during check-in. Signage at the counters have also been improved.

Jetstar Asia CEO Bara Pasupathi said the carrier is seeing an increasing trend of customers choosing to take more control of their travel experience.

After the introduction of the check-in kiosks, up to 50 per cent of customers have returned to use the service, he added.

There are currently 17 self-service kiosks and six bag-drop points at Changi Airport's Terminal 1.

All eligible customers from Singapore will continue to have the option of checking in with straight-to-gate and the mobile boarding pass.
