The King and I

This home-made robot, named "The King of Innovation", was made out of scrap metal by Chinese inventor Tao Xiangli of Beijing, China. Completed in less than a year at a cost of 300,000 yuan (S$62,000), it is 2.1m tall and weighs 480kg. It can move its hands and legs, and mimic human voices.
