A mass signing ceremony between companies and their franchisees / licensees will take place at the 8th edition of Franchising & Licensing Asia 2013 (FLAsia), at Level 1 Hall B, Sands Expo & Convention Center, Marina Bay Sands Singapore. Minister of State for Trade and Industry Mr Teo Ser Luck will witness the ceremony.
The trade event, which is organised by BizLink Exhibition Services Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings will be held from 3 - 5 October 2013.
Anytime Fitness, one of the largest gym franchises in the world with over 2,000 clubs in more than a dozen countries serving 1.5 million members, will be signing a contract with their Singapore development agent to develop 40 locations locally.
In addition, Fun Toast - a coffee chain that has 6 outlets in Singapore with 3 more in the pipeline; and Soul Centre - which conducts a life-skills programme, SoulKids®, which helps develop essential abilities such as leadership, independence, discipline, teamwork and self-understanding through games and experiential, will also be part of the signing ceremony.
Aspiring entrepreneurs and business individuals will have the opportunity to evaluate business opportunities with prospective franchisees and investors at the International Event for Entrepreneurship, Business Opportunities & Intellectual Property Rights in Asia.
A closed-door event, FLAsia Taste of International Franchise Networking Night will also be held for overseas group delegations, trade bodies, media, conference speakers and delegates to network.
With up to 250 brands, FLAsia 2013 will boast the largest showing in recent years.
