I have been renewing my mother's medical insurance for a long time using my Central Provident Fund (CPF) Medisave money.
As she grows older, the amount increases substantially, and has reached the limit of what I can use under Medisave for medical insurance. As a result, I have been topping up the difference with up to thousands of dollars in cash over the past few years.
Why am I not allowed to fully utilise my CPF Medisave for my mother's medical insurance, even though I am still working and contributing to my CPF? I also have enough funds in my Medisave account.
I hope the limit placed on using Medisave funds for medical insurance can be removed.
