I refer to Sunday's graphic ("Massive operation"), which omitted the fact that Taiwan also took part in the multi-nation search operation in the South China Sea for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.
Based on the spirit of humanitarian rescue, we sent two navy ships, two coast guard patrol vessels and a transport plane to waters in the region to help locate the missing plane.
We will continue to contribute in whatever possible way and remain available to assist in the humanitarian rescue missions. It is our hope that the missing plane can be found soon and our prayers are with the passengers and their families.
