14, including 4 university students, dead in 4 early morning accidents

KUALA LUMPUR - Fourteen people were killed in four separate accidents early this morning.

In Seremban, four in a family were killed in an accident involving two cars at Km18 of the Jalan Bahau-Keratong near Ladang Geddes, Jempol, Negri Sembilan, at 5:30am today.

The victims were making their way to Port Dickson from Bandar Muadzam Shah.

In Kapar, Klang, four men, trapped in their car, were burnt to death while another suffered minor injuries after the vehicle skidded and rammed into a lamp-post before hitting the wall of a jewellery store.

The accident occured in Bt 10, at 3.30am.

In yet another gory accident, four university students were killed in a crash involving a car and lorry at Jalan Ipoh - Kuala Lumpur, about 500 metres from Gua Tempurung.

The students were all from Tuanku Abdul Rahman College.

Meanwhile, a Pos Laju lorry driver and an attendant died in an accident at Km251.8 of the North-South Expressway (South-Bound) at 4am.
