GEORGE TOWN - Nineteen people have been interviewed in connection with the murder investigation of Indonesian maid Adelina Lisao in Penang.
They include doctors who treated her, and neighbours of the home where Adelina allegedly slept in the porch with a Rottweiler.
Penang police chief A. Thaiveegan said the investigation was almost completed.
"We are waiting for the post-mortem report before wrapping up and submitting the papers to the Deputy Public Prosecutor," he said on Thursday (Feb 15).
Datuk Thaiveegan said police investigated the 60-year-old mother, 36-year-old daughter, and the 39-year-old son who were remanded over Adelina's death.
"They have no prior criminal record," he said after launching the Computerised Patrolling System at the Light Collection III off Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway on Thursday.
