200 take part in candlelight vigil for MH370 passengers

SUNGAI PETANI, Malaysia - More than 200 people took part in a candlelight vigil to pray for the safe return of MH370 passengers at Taman Jubli Perak here today.

Some 2,000 candles were used to form 'MH370 BACK HOME' words during the five-minute mass prayer which started at 9pm.

The organiser Tan You Keng, 30, said the prayer was held for the safe return of a Sungai Petani-born Chng Mei Ling, 33, and all the 239 on board of MH370.

They were also carried placards to express their sympathy and moral support to the families of those in the airplane.
