Bike robbers cause Singapore couple serious injuries in Johor Bahru

A woman and her boyfriend reportedly sustained serious injuries when they fell victim to motorcycle robbers in Johor Bahru, reported citizen journalism website Stomp.

The photos, which were posted by the woman on Facebook, show large abrasions on their elbows, shins and feet.

She went on to express shock over falling victim to the robbery, expressing that what happen was least expected.

"Never would I thought we would be victims of JB bike robbers," she said.

She said that if not for her boyfriend, she could be in a worse state.

After the surviving the ordeal, she said was "really glad" to make it back to Singapore.

The couple's motorbike was also scratched.

She also warned that Johor Bahru is "really unsafe especially during the festive season".
