
GEORGE TOWN - The three-storey annex building currently housing the High Courts and a Magistrate's court in George Town was left in darkness, believed to be due to a substation explosion.
Lawyers and the police were seen sweating it out while they waited in hopes of it being fixed.
Notices saying all High Court cases to be heard Monday (April 15) were postponed until further notice were put up to notify those concerned.
By 10am, most of the courtrooms and hallways were left deserted while some lawyers waited it out only to be told their cases would be postponed to Tuesday (April 16).
