Bullets found at Penang assemblyman's home compound

GEORGETOWN - An assemblyman was shocked when he found a plastic bag containing five bullets in his house compound.

Seri Delima assemblyman RSN Rayer said his 10-year-old nephew made the discovery at about 7:50am on Wednesday at his house in Island Park in Penang.

He said the boy found a plastic bag on the front porch of the house.

"My nephew picked up the package thinking it was chocolate but was horrified to see the bullets."

"He called out to my father who alerted me about it."

The Democratic Action Party politician lodged a police report at the Jelutong police station.

He said he fears for his family members' safety and hopes the police will conduct a thorough investigation.
