PETALING JAYA - If conditions are satisfactory, cloud seeding over the key catchment areas in Selangor will take place next week, said the Malaysian Meteorological Department.
"We hope it will help relieve the water problem. We will do it at catchment areas," said the department's deputy director-general Alui Bahari.
The cloud seeding is expected to focus on the Sungai Selangor and Klang Gates dams, which are currently at 37.38 per cent and 53.89 per cent respectively.
According to Bahari, cloud seeding has also taken place over the agricultural areas in the northern states.
