CHERAS - A fire broke out at the City Council's Flat Sri Sarawak here in Jalan Kenanga yesterday, burning out 14 motorcycles at the parking lot. City Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said they received the call about the incident at the flats' Blok A at 9.33am and had instructed the Hang Tuah fire station to respond.
"The station's fire brigade and personnel arrived at the scene five minutes later.
"The fire was put out completely at 9.44pm," he said, adding that no loss of life occurred. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
