FB user questioned over post

SHAH ALAM - Police have questioned a woman in connection with a posting on Facebook that allegedly insulted Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Azisman Alias said the woman's statement had been recorded.

However, he declined to reveal details.

The case is being investigated after the sultan's aide-de-camp, Assistant Superintendent Ahmad Rohisham Ahmad, lodged a report on Tuesday on the orders of the ruler.

The posting, under the name "Josephine Mary", allegedly insulted the sultan and Malays, whom she claimed wanted to destroy Christianity.

However, a day before Rohisham lodged his report, a woman from Kajang had lodged a report, claiming that the Facebook account was created under her name without her knowledge.
