Four men win $14.2 million in four Magnum draws

PETALING JAYA - Four men won a total of more than RM37 million(S$14.26 million) in four Magnum draws in the first two months of the year.

The first Jackpot first prize winner was a man in his 40s from Puchong who won RM15.7million on Jan 4.

The combination that won him the grand prize was 4566 and 1975 - the second and third prizes respectively.

"I will contribute part of the winnings to charity to help others who are less fortunate and will invest the rest in expanding my business," said the man.

One week later, there was another Jackpot first prize winner - also a man in his 40s, from Malacca.

He walked away with a total prize money of RM5.09 million on Jan 12 with the combination 3133 and 6668 - the first and third prizes respectively.

The third was a man in his 50s from Ipoh who won the Jackpot prize on Jan 26.

He took home RM6.04 million with the combination 2999 and 9503 - the first and third prizes respectively.

The fourth Jackpot first prize winner was a man in his 40s from Klang who walked away with RM10.2 million.

The combination that won him the Jackpot prize on Feb 15 was 1024 and 4889 - the first and third prizes respectively.

"I checked the results through Magnum's website and was shocked when I found out the results.

"I will use the money to settle my loan, pay for my children's higher education and start a new business," he said, adding that he would put the rest in fixed deposit.

A Magnum spokesman said since the launch of Magnum 4D Jackpot game in 2009, there had been 48 Jackpot first prize winners, all of whom had won millions of ringgit.
