Kajang by-election: Najib checks in on BN's election machinery

KAJANG - Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak made an unscheduled visit here to check in on the Barisan Nasional's election machinery.

He arrived at 11am to monitor the polling process, involving 38,055 voters in 16 polling stations.

The Barisan chief, accompanied by Selangor Umno division chief Datuk Seri Noh Omar, then made his way to the Hulu Langat Umno division office for another briefing

He was later seen entering the Wanita Barisan election office again, where he is said to continue monitoring the polls.

The Election Commission is expecting an 80 per cent voter turn out Sunday.

Kajang has 39,278 registered voters, of which 1,197 are advanced voters who cast their ballots on March 19.
