AMPANG, Malaysia - A middle-aged housewife and her sons were in a yong taufu restaurant here for lunch recently when an elderly Indian man selling Big Sweep tickets approached them.

While one son remarked that it was not easy to win the lottery, the ticket seller challenged the woman: "Kalau tak beli, macam mana boleh kena? (If you don't buy, how to strike?)"

So she tried her luck and bought seven tickets.

And one of the tickets with the numbers 3614788 won her a cool RM1 million (S$330,000).

Big Sweep seems to favour punters in Ampang.

In the past seven years, Big Sweep has made five ticket buyers from the area instant millionaires.

The next draw will be held on April 14 at the Perak Turf Club.
