Malaysia Health Ministry: Covid-19 death toll now at 20

PETALING JAYA - A 76-year-old man has died of Covid-19, the 20th death recorded in the country due to the disease.

According to Health Ministry director-general Datuk Seri Noor Hisham Abdullah, the man died at 4.35pm on Wednesday (March 25).

The man had attended the tabligh gathering at Masjid Jamek in Sri Petaling, and was admitted to the Sultan Ismail Petra Hospital in Kuala Krai, Kelantan.

As of Wednesday, a total of 1,796 people tested positive for the disease.
