MAS flights cancelled

Five Malaysia Airlines flights scheduled to depart from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) have been cancelled, reported Malaysia's television network Astro Awani.

KLIA's Arrival/Departure board's latest information as at 2am showed another five scheduled outgoing points as cancelled.

The incoming flights were from Beijing, Langkawi, Dubai, Kuching and Guangzhou, and those outgoing were bound for Krabi, Kuala Namu, Kota Kinabalu, Taipei and Langkawi.

At press time, there were still no signs of any family members of the 295 passengers and crew members on board MH 17 at KLIA. I am shocked by reports that an MH plane crashed. We are launching an immediate investigation. - M'sian PM Najib Razak
