MH192: Malaysian police to look into elements of sabotage

PUTRAJAYA - Investigations would be carried out to see if there were elements of sabotage on Malaysia Airlines Flight MH192.

Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the investigation would be made as the plane had made an air turn back early this morning.

He was responding to Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein's call for the police to conduct an investigation.

MH192 was en route to Bangalore from Kuala Lumpur when the tyre burst and right hand landing gear malfunctioned.

The 166 passengers including crew members were unharmed as the plane had landed safety at approximately 1.56am.
