KUALA LUMPUR - Stop pointing fingers and work together to resolve the MH370 crisis, MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai urged family members of those on board the ill-fated plane and all others.
"The incident of the missing aircraft is an unprecedented disaster, thus all parties should be strong.
"We understand the feelings of the family members and we pray for them," Liow told reporters at the Parliament lobby here yesterday.
About 200 family members had marched to the Malaysian embassy on Liangmaqiao North Street in Beijing at around noon, holding placards and chanting slogans like "give me back my family members".
They handed a statement to a Malaysian officer after waiting for almost two hours outside the embassy.
Asked if the families had gone overboard with their accusations of the Malaysian Government, Liow said the Government had been transparent in conveying information to the families of the missing passengers and crew of the aircraft.
"They are emotional but it is pointless to blame anyone now.
"This is the time for us to work together and manage the crisis," said Liow.
