Missing MH370: Intelligence from China and India clears passenger manifest

SEPANG - Chinese and Indian Intelligence have given the 'all-clear' over the list of passengers on board the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 However, police are waiting for results from intelligence from other countries, as they go through the list with a fine tooth comb.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar added it some countries have yet to have responded to request to confirm the list was clean.

"We are still awaiting reply from several agencies, especially intelligence reports.

"So far, Chinese and Indian authorities have cleared the list," he said in a press conference at Sama Sama Hotel here earlier.

On another note, Khalid confirmed that police had gone to the home of pilot Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah, and dismantled a flight simulator for checks.

He said the investigation will be conducted under Section 130 (C) Penal Code and Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 for hijacking and terrorist acts.

They will be also investigated under the Aviation Offences Act 1984.
