SINGAPORE - Malaysia's Democratic Action Party (DAP) will hold fresh polls to re-elect key committee members.
The decision was reached during a meeting on Wednesday night chaired by party secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, reported news website Malaysiakini.
This comes after the Registrar of Societies (ROS) ordered DAP to hold a re-election in a letter dated July 30.
The ROS began probing the DAP for electoral fraud after a "technical glitch" resulted in errors in the tabulation of its party polls results in December.
