Najib wishes good luck to SPM candidates

KUALA LUMPUR - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak wished all the best to students sitting for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination, which began Monday.

"Good luck to all students who will be sitting for the SPM examination which begins tomorrow," he said in his Twitter entry Sunday.

A total of 440,682 candidates will sit for the SPM examination to be held from tomorrow until Dec 8.

The candidates include 379,466 students who are from Government; Government-aided and Government-aided religious schools, while 29,799 candidates or 6.8 per cent are private candidates.
