Nationwide alert issued for missing Malaysian boy

PETALING JAYA - A nationwide search for eight-year-old Muham­mad Zahiruddin Putra Mohd Fauzi is on after he went missing on Monday (April 15).

The National Urgent Response Alert system was activated after his father lodged a police report at the Bangi police station at around midnight on Tuesday.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said Muhammad Zahiruddin Putra was last seen at 6pm on Monday, playing in the rain at a playground near his house in Bangi.

"His disappearance was discovered when his mother saw that he was not at home when she returned from work at 7.30pm," he said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact Sjn Farah Nadia Mohd Hashim at the Kajang police headquarters at 012-360 0232 or the nearest police station.
