KUALA LUMPUR - A sex crazed man has been "pimping" his ex-girlfriend online without her knowledge, allegedly in revenge for being ditched by her.
"I thought it was over between us until a few weeks ago when I started receiving WhatsApp messages from strangers who asked to have sex with me. That was when I found out he had posted my picture and contact information at a dating site as someone looking for free sex," the divorcee told a press conference at the MCA Public Services and Complaints Bureau at Wisma MCA here yesterday.
What started as an innocent love affair became a living nightmare for the woman, known only as Chong, 34, when she started dating 48-year-old Yong.
"I got to know him at the dating site in July last year and we started seeing each other. He seemed like a decent guy," she said.
Chong said the relationship became strained when Yong constantly demanded for sex, including oral sex.
"He would also insist on taking nude pictures of me whenever we were together despite me refusing every time," she said.
Unable to take the constant badgering during their six-month relationship, Chong broke off with Yong.
"He started stalking me. He showed up outside my house, at work and constantly call me, begging me to come back.
"When he could not reach me, he would call my friends and pester them," added Chong, who has a teenage son.
In February, she decided to move to a new house, change her job and her phone number to escape Yong's harassment. On April 6, after getting the uncalled for messages from men seeking to have sex with her, Chong lodged a report at the Nilai police station.
Bureau head Datuk Seri Michael Chong said it was the eighth case he had received this year of women being harassed by ex-boyfriends.
