Truck bursts into flames after highway plunge

A truck veered off Malaysia's North- South Highway after its driver lost control of the vehicle (left).

It overturned after plunging from a height of about 20m and its engine caught fire.

The accident happened at about 12.30pm on Friday.

The 33-year-old driver is believed to have been trying to avoid a motorcycle, reported Sin Chew Daily.

He was trapped in the vehicle for about three hours before he was rescued and taken to hospital.
