Man finds plastic object in bun bought from BreadTalk

A man has claimed that he bit into a hard and sharp piece of plastic while eating a bun he bought from a bakery at City Hall this morning.

He submitted photos of the object to citizen journalism website Stomp and said: "I bought this char siew bun at BreadTalk's City Hall outlet this morning.

"While I was eating it, I felt something hard. When I spat it out, I saw this piece of hard and sharp plastic.

"This is a lapse that could have caused some injuries."

The Stomp reader added that he has informed BreadTalk of the incident via their Facebook page, and was told that they would investigate.
