Following the launch of its Breaded Salmon with Paella Spice Mix burger just two weeks ago, McDonald's Singapore will be releasing another customer-inspired item tomorrow (March 3): the Crispy Chicken Sandwich.
The burger features an unusual patty of chicken breast meat that's been battered twice to "lock in" the meat's moisture, according to McDonald's.
When SoShiok tasted the burger at a media preview today, we were pleasantly surprised.
The patty was indeed juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside, a far cry from the dry and tough chicken breast meat we usually get in burgers elsewhere.
It was also nicely balanced with the veggies - wild rocket leaves, lettuce, tomato - and a special mayonnaise-based sauce.
The Crispy Chicken Sandwich is the second of McDonald's line of new offerings from its "You Said It. We Made It" campaign.
Over the next few months, customers can expect to see more products inspired by the company's market research and public feedback.
