Top 10 instant noodles of 2017: Singapore brand is No. 1

Singapore company Prima Taste's Laksa Wholegrain La Mian has come out tops again in 'The Ramen Rater' Hans Lienesch's annual list of 'Top 10 instant noodles of all time'.

This is the second year in a row that the Singapore brand has taken top spot since Lienesch started writing his reviews at least seven years ago. This year, two other flavours - Prima Taste's Curry Wholegrain La Mian (#6), and Nissin Straits Kitchen/Straits Reborn Laksa (#3), made the top 10 list.

  • 1. Prima Taste Singapore Laksa Wholegrain La Mian (Singapore)
  • "This is just like the epitome of radness.. the noodles are thick, chewy, the whole wheat noodles have an artisanal feel. The broth is kinda spicy, very flavourful laksa, and it's beautiful too."
