The Taiwan Porridge buffet at the hotel's Coffee Lounge, a popular mainstay since 1984, introduces new side dishes created by executive sous chef Foo Jong Kwang to enjoy with congee.
The items include shredded bamboo shoots in chilli oil; fried omelette with crabmeat; stir-fried chicken with black beans; shredded pork with preserved vegetables; steamed minced pork with salted fish and sauteed squid with sambal.
Until July 13, the porridge buffet's dessert section also features six types of durian pastries as part of the hotel's Durian Fiesta (additional charge applies).
