Love camping in the great outdoors, but still want to stay connected?
There is now high-tech camping equipment that promises to power a camper's smartphones, tablets, GPS devices and other gadgets.
Take the Katabatic Tent, a collaboration between United States entrepreneur Eddie Bauer and solar-powered-product firm Goal Zero. The tent comes with a roof-integrated 18-watt solar panel that can charge one's gadgets.
It retails at US$600 (S$766), and can be hooked up to Goal Zero's Sherpa 50 Power Pack (US$200) - a 50-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion pack - or the larger Yeti solar generators (US$1,800), according to AFP Relaxnews.
