You do not need a spanking new laptop to have the latest superfast 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology. Just buy the Asus USB-AC56 dual-band AC1200 802.11ac Wi-Fi adaptor.
It uses a USB 3.0 connection and supports wireless Internet speeds of up to 300Mbps at 2.4GHz frequency and up to 867Mbps at 5GHz frequency. It features an internal antenna design for minimal clutter. You can also attach the included external antenna to boost reception. A desktop cradle is included for flexible desktop positioning.
