Adopt Tamil schools, temples told

MALAYSIA - Administrators of Indian temples in Malaysia have been asked to adopt Tamil schools in their areas in an effort to provide a better education environment for students, Malaysia Nanban reported.

The call was made by Sri Maha Mariamman Temple Devasthanam president Tan Sri R.Nadarajah in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.

Nadarajah said temple committees could allocate a small amount for the improvement of the Tamil schools and for organising motivational and educational courses for the children.
