Exam blues? Relax - at Liang Court

Exam blues? Relax - at Liang Court
Challenge yourself by hooking 2 yoyo balloons using 3 paper hooks to receive a stamp!

SINGAPORE - The next few weeks will be the mid-year exam period for students. But those with kids should make their way to Liang Court anyway.

For the mall is celebrating Kodomo No Hi (also known as Children's Day in Japan) with a series of events, such as a Children's Day Games Carnival, an Obstacle Course Challenge and a Spring Hello Market.

The April 25-29 carnival will feature authentic Japanese carnival games, such as 1000 Strings, Ball Scooping, Shooting Game, Yoyo Fishing and, new this year, Kendama.

Fathers and sons who take part in the Obstacle Course Challenge stand to win shopping vouchers worth up to $1,000. It will be held on May 4.

The Spring Hello Market is an annual flea market that offers authentic Japanese wares at a great bargain. To be held on May 10 and 11, pre-loved fashion apparel and accessories will be up for grabs.

Studies are important, but so too is relaxation. Do consider letting your kid have some fun at Liang Court: All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
