Roy Ngerng, M. Ravi among RP's Ang Mo Kio GRC line-up

SINGAPORE - Lawyer M. Ravi will be leading a Reform Party (RP) team to contest Ang Mo Kio group representation constituency (GRC) in the coming general election.

The rest of the team comprises blogger Roy Ngerng, activist Gilbert Goh, entrepreneur Osman Sulaiman, and party volunteers Siva Chandran and Jesse Loo.

Mr Osman was part of the 2011 RP line-up that went up against a team led by the People Action Party's (PAP) Lee Hsien Loong for Ang Mo Kio GRC, which was won by the latter with 69.3 per cent of the votes.

The PAP has announced that it will be fielding incumbents Mr Lee, Ang Hin Kee, and Dr Intan Azura Mokhtar, as well as new additions Darryl David and Dr Koh Poh Koon to contest the GRC at the Sep 11 polls.

Yesterday, the RP announced that party chief Kenneth Jeyaretnam will be leading party chairman Andy Zhu, Darren Soh, and Noraini Yunus to contest West Coast GRC. They will be facing the People's Action Party's (PAP) Lim Hng Kiang, Foo Mee Har, S Iswaran, and Patrick Tay.

Kumar Appavoo will be standing for the RP against PAP incumbent Sam Tan in Radin Mas single-member constituency.
