Best time for Polish orphan's visit

There is no better time for Ms Colleen Turzynski to visit Singapore than during our Golden Jubilee celebrations next year ("She may come to Singapore earlier than planned"; last Sunday).

Better still, why not throw in the National Education experience for the Polish orphan by giving her National Day Parade tickets?

Tragedy may have taken away her Polish father and Singaporean mother, but now that Ms Turzynski has discovered her Singaporean roots, there is no turning back.

She cannot wait to come to Singapore to find out what it means to be Singaporean, which is probably what her mother would have wished if she were alive today.
