Singapore Changi Airport has been voted the World's Best Airport for the fourth time, heading a list of 10 international airports announced at the Passenger Terminal EXPO in Geneva on March 12 as recipients of the 2013 World Airport Awards.
Travellers from around the world took part in the survey, which this year garnered 12.1 million responses.
No. 10 London Heathrow Airport
London Heathrow Airport, which was known as London Airport from 1946 to 1965, is located in the London Borough of Hillingdon in West London. In 2013, the airport won the Skyscanner Awards' Best European Airport for Families and Business Traveller Awards' Best Airport Shopping Business.
No. 9 Haneda Airport, Japan
Haneda Airport, or Tokyo International Airport, is the airport that serves the Greater Tokyo Area, and is also the primary base of Japan's two major domestic airlines, Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways.
No. 8 Vancouver International Airport
According to the official website of Vancouver International Airport, 62 airlines currently serve the airport, connecting people and businesses to 99 destinations in Canada, the US and around the world. About 17 million passengers travelled through the airport in 2011.
It won the Skytrax Best North American Airport award in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
