These characters were among the 53,000 runners who pounded the streets yesterday morning for the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore.
The men's marathon was won by Kenya's Kenneth Mungara, who finished in 2hr 16min 42sec. It was his second triumph, having also won the race in 2010.
Ethiopian Waganesh Amare won the women's marathon with a time of 2:46.53.
SEA Games marathon champion Mok Ying Ren made it five wins by emerging tops in the Marathon (Men) Singapore category. He clocked 2:53.42.
Rachel See won the women's equivalent in 3:17.13.
