Lessons on racial harmony

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong being given a tour of an Internal Security Department Heritage Centre mobile exhibition by students at Chong Boon Secondary School on Saturday.

The exhibition gives insights into the racial riots here and past terrorism plots against Singapore, and sensitises students to the country's internal security threats.

It is being held in conjunction with the commemoration of Racial Harmony Month by the school, which is in Ang Mo Kio GRC where Mr Lee is an MP.

Since 2003, about 40 schools have hosted the mobile exhibitions, reaching out to some 50,000 students.
