3.7kg of heroin seized, 3 men arrested in CNB operation

SINGAPORE - About 3.7kg of heroin with a market value of $396,000 was seized during a Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) operation on Friday.

Three Singaporean men, aged between 30 and 38, were arrested in the operation, which targeted locations in the eastern and central parts of Singapore and which yielded the largest single haul of heroin this year.

The total haul of drugs seized amount to about 3.7kg of heroin, 60g of "Ice" and 560 Erimin 5 tablets, with a street value of more than $409,000.

CNB director Ng Ser Song commended his officers, saying, "We will not rest on our laurels. CNB will continue our relentless enforcement efforts."

Investigations are ongoing.
