KUALA LUMPUR - The remaining police inspector sought in connection with custodial death of N. Dhamendran has been placed on the wanted list.
City CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Ku Chin Wah said Hare Krishna Subramaniam was sought by police for not showing up for work since June 15.
"He is also wanted in connection with the death of Dhamendran," he said in a statement yesterday.
In early June, three policemen were charged in a magistrate's court here with causing the death of lock-up detainee N. Dhamendran.
Sjn Jaffri Jaafar, 44, Kpl Nahar Abdul Rahman, 45, and Kpl Haswadi Zamri Shaari, 32, confirmed that they understood the charges read to them. No plea was recorded.
Hare Krishna has been on the run since the police launched their investigations into the case.
