SINGAPORE - Singapore'S "Sticker Lady" Samantha Lo has been given a bigger canvas to paint on.

Called Signs on the Loose, the project will see Siloso beach on Sentosa blanketed with signs and billboards featuring common Singlish phrases.

The work will be on display for the month of August to celebrate National Day, said a spokesman for the Sentosa Leisure Group.

Ms Lo sparked off a debate last year about the role of street art with her proclamation of "My Grandfather Road" stencilled on public roads and her tongue-in-cheek stickers on traffic-light buttons.

She eventually pleaded guilty to seven counts of mischief
