SINGAPORE - More than a hundred adventure seekers aged between 15 and 57 abseiled down the Merlion on Saturday morning, during the inaugural Outward Bound Singapore (OBS)-The Merlion Charity Abseil.
Life Community Services Society (LCSS) CEO James Wong, 57, and OBS director Nicholas Conceicao, 46, joined in the fun at the 37m national icon on Sentosa, raising some $8,000 for LCSS, a charity which takes care of disadvantaged children and at-risk youth from low-income families.
