SINGAPORE - Part of a crawler crane dropped onto Coleman Street yesterday morning.
The crane, which was in a barricaded section of the road, had tilted, causing the jib to snap and drop. No one was hurt.
The contractor saw that the crane at the National Art Gallery construction site had started to dip earlier, and closed the road before the jib dropped. The road was reopened just before 12pm.
